A Glasgow city centre road has been closed due to an incident involving a cyclist.
Several police officers attended at Cathedral Street on Sunday afternoon sealing the road off between North Frederick Street and North Hanover Street.
Several buses were backed up along the street until police put a diversion in place.
No vehicles can be seen inside the police cordon but a bicycle is lying at the side of the road on the west bound carriageway.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Police and emergency services are currently in Cathedral Street, Glasgow after a cyclist came off his bike.
"Officers were called to assist Scottish Ambulance Service with traffic management around 4.15pm on Sunday, 20 August 2023.
"There is significant disruption to traffic in the area and motorists are asked to avoid the area.
"Diversions are in place via North Fredrick Street at George Square."
