DRIVERS are set to face disruption as a residential road in Giffnock will be closed for three weeks later this year.
Merrycast Avenue will be shut from its junction with Braidholm Road and Ashlea Drive, and from its junction with Ashlea Drive up to and including its junction with Thornlea Drive from Tuesday, September 26 until Friday, October 13.
The closure will only be in force between 9am and 4pm each day, while there will be no weekend working.
It will be shut to facilitate essential carriageway resurfacing works, on or near the road.
All vehicles will be unable to access the area throughout the works.
