A MAN has died suddenly in North Glasgow.
Emergency services attended Ruchill Street this morning at 9:50am after the alarm was raised.
The force said the body of a 73-year-old man was discovered. Police, however, have now confirmed that it is not suspicious.
It comes after locals took to social media to say the area was cordoned off while officers investigated at the scene.
The community page No1seems2care said: "Police incident has been ongoing since 9.10am on Ruchill Street! Hope everyone is okay. Thanks."
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers were called to Ruchill Street, Glasgow at around 9.50am on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 following the sudden death of a 73-year-old man.
"There are no suspicious circumstances, and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
