The winner will be announced at the silver anniversary celebration of the Glasgow Business Awards, hosted by Glasgow Chamber of Commerce, on Thursday, October 5 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Central.

The Glasgow Times' Favourite Business is the only category out of 17 at the celebrated awards, sponsored by Royal Bank of Scotland, which is voted for by the public.

Richard Muir, Deputy Chief Executive of Glasgow Chamber of Commerce, said: "This year’s nominees tell the tale of Glasgow’s incredible history and relationship with music, entertainment, fashion, media and hospitality – all of which make the city such a wonderful place to live, work and visit.

"The Glasgow Business Awards are always the highlight of the business calendar, and with this award voted on by the public, there’s an added air of excitement to see who out of that list will be named Glasgow’s Favourite Business."

Now the shortlisted businesses have been revealed, Glasgow Times readers can look forward to in-depth profiles of each of the local contenders to help voters with their decision.
