A Strictly Come Dancing star is set to visit East Renfrewshire as part of his first-ever national tour next year.
Eastwood Park Theatre will host Reverend Richard Coles – “the only British vicar to have had a number-one hit single and to have appeared on Strictly Come Dancing” on Saturday, January 13.
The author promises to lift the lid on a life truly and truthfully lived, discussing pop stardom, religious epiphany, a dream job, and the madness of grief.
Moria McFadden, Head of Arts and Communities at East Renfrewshire Culture and Leisure, said: “We look forward to welcoming ‘Britain’s most famous vicar’, Reverend Richard Coles, to Eastwood Park Theatre as part of his national tour, for what promises to be a witty and insightful evening of entertainment.
“He is the latest star to join Eastwood Park Theatre’s lineup for 2024, which also includes Sex Pistol’s frontman John Lydon and CBeebies star Nick Cope.”
