A HARD-working police dog has won a top award along with his handler.
PD Dare and PC Hewitt were awarded Police Scotland Greater Glasgow Dog of Year at an awards ceremony in Glasgow City Chambers yesterday.
The duo were recognised following an incident that took place last year.
They found a vulnerable missing person just days after finishing their training.
German Shepherd Dare posed for a picture alongside his handler following the win.
