A WOMAN has been left "badly shaken" after an attempted robbery in Dennistoun.
A man in his early 20s approached the 26-year-old woman on Armadale Street, near to Golfhill Drive, at around 8.30pm yesterday and stole her bag.
Members of the public came to the woman's aid and managed to retrieve her bag and items.
The suspect then ran off in the direction of Duke Street.

The woman did not require medical treatment but police say she has been left badly shaken by the incident.
Officers are now appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time to get in touch, while relevant CCTV footage from the surrounding areas is also being checked and door-to-door enquiries are being carried out.
Detective Sergeant Laura Roberts said: "I am appealing to anyone who was in the area around the time of the incident to get in touch.
"In particular, I would ask the members of the public who helped the woman to call us.
"Also, if anyone has recording equipment, such as doorbell or dash cams, please check the footage as it could hold images relevant to our ongoing investigation."
The suspect is described as being white and in his early 20s with a slim build and spoke with a local accent.
He is said to be around 5ft 6in tall with short dark hair and was wearing a blue-coloured baggy tracksuit.
