FIVE people who were allegedly caught drink driving over the weekend in East Renfrewshire have been charged.
It comes after local officers were joined by colleagues from roads policing.
Due to it, over the course of the weekend, the force managed to detect five people who were driving whilst "unfit" through drink and/or drugs.
Cops say the individuals were arrested and charged with various road traffic offences.

A spokesperson for the force said: “This weekend in East Renfrewshire local officers, supported by roads policing, detected five persons driving motor vehicles whilst unfit through drink and/or drugs.
“Individuals were arrested and charged with various road traffic offences.”
