Greggs is set to open a new outlet in Queen Street Station after being given the green light to open a new "pod" by council planning chiefs.
The popular bakery chain will begin work on the newly constructed pod at the North Hanover Street end of the recently refurbished rail hub.
Glasgow City Council's (GCC) planning committee agreed to the plans for the outlet, accompanying signage and interior of the store, on Tuesday, September 12.
However, consent was granted with conditions in order to preserve "the character of the listed building" which will house the new outlet.
From the plans, the Greggs will not have the option to sit inside it, rather it will be focusing on providing takeaway food and drink.
