This year Strictly Come Dancing has announced a handful of soap stars from Coronation Street, Emmerdale and EastEnders who will be joining the line-up.
One of the latest arrivals to Albert Square is Bobby Brazier, who recently won the Rising Star award at the National Television Awards (NTAs) for his role as Freddie Slater.
However, the 20-year-old has revealed he will be âtaking a breakâ from EastEnders as he takes part in the BBC dancing show this autumn.
His role as the son of Little Mo will be put on pause, with the actor confirming he has already filmed his exit scenes.
He told Radio Times and other members of the press: "I'm taking a break. I've filmed it all, and I'm not telling you. I'll be back."
Who is Bobby Brazier's famous mum?
Bobby is the son of TV presenter Jeff Brazier and the late Big Brother star Jade Goody.
The couple dated from 2002 until 2004 and also have another 18-year-old son called Freddie.
Sadly, Jade died from cervical cancer at the age of 27 back in 2009.
Speaking in a recent interview on Good Morning Britain (GMB), Bobby revealed how his mum would feel about his acting career.

He said: âSheâd be proud. Why wouldnât she be? Anyone who loves and cares about me, all my friends and my family, theyâre all proud and all supportive.
âIâm sure â well, I know â sheâd be the same.â
Bobby Brazier plans on dedicating Strictly dance to mum Jade Goody
He spoke to the MailOnline at the NTAs about the songs he wants to perform his dance routines to.
Bobby explained: âThereâs a few â it depends on the mood. Saturday Love and also This Womanâs Worth by Maxwell - that would be beautiful, Iâd hope to make people cry doing that.
âMaybe Iâll dedicate that one [to my mum]. I havenât thought about it, but maybe that one.â
As well as featuring in EastEnders, the British model has also strutted his stuff down the runway for world-renowned fashion house, Dolce & Gabbana at Milan Fashion Week and starred on the cover of acclaimed style magazine, Man About Town.
Across social media, Bobby regularly shares life updates and shows off his spiritual side as a passionate advocate for positive mental health and well-being.
When is Strictly Come Dancing 2023 on TV?
