COPS have issued a statement after traffic chaos at the new Popeyes in Barrhead.
It comes after punters have flocked to the retail park in the town to try the new venue.
We previously reported the new chicken joint opened on Monday, September 18, with one customer camping outside for over 18 hours.
It is understood officers were at the shopping area yesterday evening at around 7pm as fast food fans queued outside the venue.
Now, police have said they are aware of congestion caused by the eatery and are working to address the issue.
They also advised road users to follow the "pecking order."
A spokesperson for East Renfrewshire Police said: "We are aware of the congestion caused by the new Popeyes chicken restaurant in Barrhead.
"We are working with the establishment to address the issue.
"Please be courteous to all road users and follow the pecking order."
