LIDL will shut the current store in Barrhead - as they reveal the opening date for the new shop across the town.
The supermarket announced its shop on Kelburn Street, which has been serving the community for 22 years, will close its doors when its new store opens in the town's new retail park.
The new shop will officially open on Thursday, September 28 - and will be open from 8am until 10pm from Monday to Saturday and 8am to 9pm on Sundays.
Meanwhile, the old store will close next week to create a "seamless" transition for customers while it will retain all current staff members.
It is just one of the many businesses to call the new shopping area home.
Starbucks, B&M, Popeyes, and Card Factory have already opened in the retail park, while Burger King is yet to announce an opening date.
