A teen girl has gone missing from Cambuslang sparking “significant” police enquiries.
Officers are desperate to find Niamh Lynch who went missing last night after being last seen near to Branchock Avenue Halfway.
The 15-year-old is known to frequent the Edinburgh, Motherwell and Glasgow areas.
She is described as a white female, 5'5" in height, slim build, long dark brown hair and was last observed wearing a grey jacket, black Givenchy hooded top, blue leggings and white trainers.
Sergeant Gary Mackie, Rutherglen Police Station, said: “Officers have been carrying out significant enquiries since Niamh was reported missing but so far, she has not been located.
“We would like to appeal to anyone who may be able to provide any information regarding Niamh’s whereabouts or potential sightings that will assist us in tracing her.
“It is expected she may be using the bus and train networks extensively, potentially with a friend.
“I would also ask Niamh herself to get in contact with friends, family, support services or the Police.”
