THREE suspects are accused of running over a man in a murder bid.
Stephen Maguire, 30, Daniel Millan, 25, and Stuart Lindsay, 30, allegedly assaulted Robert Graham in Paisley on April 21, 2022.
Court papers state the trio acted with a John Wallace, now deceased.
The charge claims they enticed Mr Graham to cross Springbank Road and drove a car at speed towards him.
It is alleged that this caused the motor vehicle to strike him on the body.
The charge is said to be to Mr Graham's severe injury, permanent disfigurement, permanent impairment, danger of life and attempted murder.
A separate allegation says they cleaned the door sills and handles of the car at Airlink Industrial Estate in Paisley.
It is claimed they thereafter wilfully set fire to the car which caused extensive damage to it.
This is said to have been done with intent to defeat the ends of justice and attempted to defeat the ends of justice.
The trio are further accused of stealing the car which was allegedly used in the murder bid from a street in Glasgow's Hillhead on April 19 2022.
Millan, of Pollok, faces his own charge of supplying diazepam to Mr Graham in Paisley on April 21, 2022.
Lindsay meantime is said to have supplied cannabis at a street in Hamilton, South Lanarkshire, on May 11 2022.
The trio appeared in the dock today at the High Court in Glasgow where they pleaded not guilty.
A trial was fixed for June next year by Judge Norman McFadyen.
