TRAIN services from Glasgow to Barrhead have been cancelled due to a signalling fault on the line this morning.
ScotRail announced services running from the city to the town, and then to Kilmarnock and Carlisle will not be able to operate until the fault has been rectified.
It is due to a signalling system issue between Pollokshaws West and Barrhead.

Announcing the news, ScotRail said: "Due to a fault with the signalling system between Pollokshaws West and Barrhead disruption is expected.
"Our services are unable to operate between Glasgow - Barrhead, Kilmarnock and Carlisle until staff have rectified the fault."
In the meantime, the rail operator has said local bus services will accept tickets from rail passengers.

X76: Glasgow - Kilmarnock (Stagecoach)
X77 Glasgow to Ayr (Stagecoach)
03: Glasgow to Barrhead (McGill's)
51: Barrhead to Paisley (McGill's)
54: Neilston to Paisley Gilmour Street (McGill's)
337 Dunlop to Kilmarnock (McGill's)
