A pilot invited Limmy into the cockpit of an Ibiza flight because he is a huge fan of his work.
The Glasgow comedian was “delighted” to be asked for a selfie by the Jet2 aviator who also let him sit in his seat.
The pair beamed in pictures as Limmy, who’s real name is Brian Limond, got to enjoy the “perks of being a minor Scottish celeb.”
Posting the interaction on social media he said: “Picture with the pilot of the plane to Ibiza.
“I was told he wanted a picture cos he likes Limmy's Show, and he let me get pics in the cockpit, sit in the seat, the lot.
“I was f****** delighted.
“The perks of being a minor Scottish celeb.”
Fans were quick to comment their thoughts on the pictures by referencing Limmy’s material.
One said: “I hope he said to you ‘greetings traveller’”
A second said: “Flyin Limond!”
A third said: “She's turned the planes against us!”
A fourth said: “She's turned the planes against us!”
A fifth said: “Bet he watched you on flight simulator and was taking notes.”
