An East Kilbride has fire ripped through a house while neighbours watch in horror.
Footage of the incident showed massive orange flames rip through the property on Whitelee street.
The alarm was raised at around 5.50pm this afternoon with fire crews racing to the area and are still on the scene.
It is unknown if anyone has been injured in the incident at this time.
Worried neighbours told the Glasgow Times they may face evacuation "if the wind changes" according to authority officials.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Services said: "We received a call at around 16.01pm of a property fire in Whitlee.
"We are still in attendance."
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers received a report of a fire around 5.40pm on Friday, 20 October, 2023.
"Emergency services remain at the scene."
