A WOMAN who stole more than £10,000 from her employer will have to wait to find out her punishment.
Alana Henry appeared in the dock at Glasgow Sheriff Court last week after previously admitting to embezzling £10,810 whilst employed as a manager at Odro Ltd - a software development company at Templeton Street, Glasgow.
The theft took place between May 2019 and January 2020.
When Henry, 35, appeared for sentencing last week, it was heard that she had paid almost all of the money back.
It was confirmed that around £200 was outstanding.
Sheriff Patricia Pryce deferred sentencing further for a criminal justice social work report and restriction of liberty order assessment to be carried out.
The sheriff said: “Whilst she’s paid it back, it’s still a very serious matter.”
Henry, of Newmains, will return to court in November.
