A major police investigation is underway following the death of a 33-year-old in Glasgow's Knightswood.
Police Scotland officers have swarmed the Kirkton Avenue area as they look to piece together how the man died.
The force first received a 999 call about the death on Thursday night at around 9.10pm.
They provided no further details on the death and said that a 32-year-old had been arrested.
Today officers manned a block of flats with detectives from the Major Investigations Teams beginning their probe.
The area at the bottom of the flats has been cordoned off by police while forensic officers are also at the scene.
One neighbour said: ""Police are guarding every landing up to the 7th floor, something happened up there."
Another neighbour said they are in 'shock' revealing that the details of what happened were still vague.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Around 9.10pm on Thursday, November 2, 2023, police received a report of the death of a 33-year-old man in the Kirkton Avenue area of Glasgow.
"A 32-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death and enquiries are ongoing."
