Plans to turn an East Kilbride retail centre into flats have been submitted to South Lanarkshire Council.
An application to convert St James Retail Centre into residential property, which will include six flats, has been received. The application was made on November 6.
If approved, the six properties will all have three bedrooms. Parking for the current use of the retail centre includes 32 spaces, this will be retained for the residential unit. Commercial offices currently occupy the retail centre.
No neighbourhood consultation has been carried out yet and the deadline for determining the application is January 5.
