Paisley's Christmas lights switch-on event will mark the start of a month-long programme of festive family fun.
The small celebration will take place in Dunn Square on Thursday, November 30.
Renfrewshire's Provost Lorraine Cameron, along with one of this year's Christmas card competition winners, will turn on the festive lights at around 5.30pm.
The event will coincide with the public opening of the ice rink, funfair and other festive activities in Paisley town centre.
