Strictly Come Dancing professional Dianne Buswell has shared an emotional update on her father and his cancer diagnosis.
The star, who performs alongside EastEnders' Bobby Brazier, shared the update on the popular social media platform Instagram to her thousands of fans.
Last month, the dancer appeared visibly down during a performance on the BBC programme with Bobby revealing that she was "obviously affected" by the news that her father had cancer.
Dianne Buswell, who is originally from Bunbury near Perth in Australia, revealed that her dad had just started chemotherapy for his cancer as she posted a picture of him lying in a hospital bed.

Taking to social media, she shared how proud she is of her father and joked about his constant chat about the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing with the nurses.
She said: "I’m so proud of you dad - first round of chemotherapy today!
"I wish i could be there to hold your hand and support you in person but i do know that i’m making you so proud over here in my concert every week!
"The Australian nurses and drs are now very aware of strictly come dancing as my dad won’t stop talking about it - you can do this daddy xxx."
Fans and co-stars were quick to show their support with fan-favourite professional dancer Amy Dowden sharing: "Sending all my love to the whole Buswell family! Mark you got this and soon it’s going to be a distant memory! Roll on 2024 where you will be watching Dianne live in concerts. Thinking of you."
Vito Coppola said: "Maaaaark you got this and once everything is over we have to meet for a good Food Day," adding: "In the meantime take the right time for yourself and fight while you enjoy your beautiful and amazing daughter @diannebuswell smashing every week during the 'concert'"
One fan commented: "You are a very special flower in his garden Dianne. Keep blooming because that will keep making him smile xx"
Another user simply added: "Sending love and Strength to papa."
