UPDATE: Man found seriously hurt as CID officers spotted doing door-to-door
POLICE have locked down street following an incident in Glasgow's West End.
A section of Dumbarton Road at its corner with Stewartville Street has been taped off next to Bupa Dental Care.
Pictures show police officers standing guard at the scene.
It is understood other areas have also been taped off on Stewartville Street and Fordyce Street, according to an eyewitness.
The source also told the Glasgow Times police have been in the area since around 10.40pm.
The nature of the incident is not currently known.
Police Scotland have been contacted for comment.
