A MAN was found seriously hurt in the street after an attack in Glasgow's West End.
CID officers have been spotted carrying out door-to-door enquiries following the incident.
We previously reported that Dumbarton Road at its corner with Stewartville Street was taped off whilst cops stood guard.
Police have since revealed that a man, aged 34, was found seriously injured at 10pm last night.
He was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
CID officers were speaking to locals in the area this morning.
Cops say the victim was seriously assaulted and are appealing for information.
An investigation is ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10pm on Monday, November 20, police were called to a report of a 34-year-old man injured following a serious assault on Dumbarton Road at Stewartville Street, Partick.
“Officers attended and the man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
“Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information should contact 101 with reference number 3616 of November 20.”
