A STILL Game and Balamory star attended a book event in Renfrewshire at the weekend.
The event was held on Saturday, November 18, at Bernies Cafe in Bridge of Weir and organised by Aileen Jeffrey, owner of The Ginger Cat Bookshop.
During it, authors Anna Deacon and Vicky Allan discussed their new book "The Ripple Effect", which is a celebration of the wild swimming communities across the UK.
It was hosted by Scots stars and husband and wife, Greg Hemphill, known as Victor in Still Game, and Julie Nimmo, known as Miss Hoolie in Balamory, who asked questions throughout the event.
On top of that, the two authors also signed books at the end of the night.
Greg Hemphill and Julie Nimmo said: “It was such a pleasure to interview Anna and Vicky at the launch of their latest book, “The Ripple Effect”. Their shared passion for wild swimming is so infectious.
"We had such a fun night in their company and the wonderful pod of fellow cold water loons. Thanks so much to The Ginger Cat and Bernie's for having us.
"We are so happy to be part of this ever-growing community and congratulations to Anna and Vicky for creating such a beautiful book."
While Anna Deacon added: "We absolutely loved visiting Bridge Of Weir last night and taking part in such a wonderful event.
"It was so great chatting with Greg and Jules and the audience was so fun and engaging.
"It was particularly lovely hearing so many different people telling us their own stories, and also making new friends and joining one another’s swim groups through being at the event.
"Thanks so much to the Ginger Cat bookshop for organising it!'
