A Paisley wig maker has confirmed a huge give away after two children died.
Aduke Lily Johnstone, owner of LillysHair, is donating custom wigs worth up to £2000 for kids.
It comes after her two young clients tragically passed away from cancer, leaving the 37-year-old heartbroken.
Now she wants to help other youngsters under the age of 17 who suffer from hair loss by donating real human hair wigs.
Aduke told the Glasgow Times: “I want to put smiles on the faces of children going through hair loss by creating custom wigs for them.
“Our goal is to create styles that would resemble their natural hair before they lost it, or a custom piece of their choice free of charge.
“I had lost two previous clients who suffered from cancer and used my wigs, it was heartbreaking.
“My clients mean a lot to me so when I can help them I will, I want to give back and support them.”
The wigs are made from the finest quality virgin human hair sourced from Cambodia before coming to Lilly’s Hair factory in Paisley.
Aduke launched the business after her sister suddenly experienced hair loss during her pregnancy.
Her confidence was boosted after being given a wig which left Aduke inspired to help more people.
She now ships her products all over the world and even has plans to open a shop in America soon.
Aduke said: “I want to make people feel really confident and like themselves again, that is what motivates me.
“Giving my sister her hairpiece made her feel so much better which was amazing to see.
“I love styling and colouring the hair we get from overseas and creating looks for my clients, I really enjoy it.
“I do a lot of online orders but when I see a client in person try on their wig it is a great reminder of just how special it is for them.
“It isn’t just a wig, it is self-esteem and that is worth so much.”
Aduke is raising money to pay for the wigs she wants to give away to youngsters.
She launched a GoFundMe to encourage donations so she can give more children custom hair.
The page has a £5000 target which she hopes will allow her to boost the confidence of people across the world.
