UPDATE: Christine has been traced safe and well.
A SEARCH is underway for a woman who was last seen leaving a city centre Tesco on Tuesday.
Christine Brown was last seen leaving the Tesco Express on Sauchiehall Street at around 3pm on November 28.
The 61-year-old is believed to have travelled to Glasgow from Irvine train station on Monday, November 27, and she was previously within a property in the Alder Green area of Irvine on the evening of Sunday, November 26.
Police are appealing for help to trace Christine and say they believed she may stil be in the city centre area.
Sergeant Robert Holland from Irvine Police Station said: "We believe Christine may be in the Glasgow city centre area however does have links in Irvine too.
"I’d ask anyone who has seen her, or a woman matching her description, to report any sightings to police so that we can investigate.
"Equally anyone who may have any information to help in tracing her should report this to Police Scotland as soon as possible."
Christine is described as white and around 5ft 3ins tall with a slim build and short brown hair.
She wears glasses and was last seen wearing a brown coloured jacket and pink scarf.
She was carrying a tan coloured handbag and a black and white polka dot holdall, as seen in the pictures.
Anyone with information about Christine's whereabouts is asked to contact police via 101, quoting incident number 0973 of November 28.
