TWO people have been rushed to hospital following a car smash in Barrhead yesterday.
It comes after 999 crews rushed to Darnley Road in the town at around 4pm on Wednesday, November 29.
Officers say the incident involved a car and a parked motor.
Now, the Scottish Ambulance Service (SAS) has confirmed they sent two ambulances, a paramedic response unit, along with their special operations team to the scene.
Following it, two people were taken to hospital.
A spokesperson for the SAS said: "We received a call at 4.05pm on Wednesday, November 29, to attend a road traffic collision on Darnley Road in Barrhead.
"We dispatched two ambulances, a paramedic response unit, and our special operations team to the scene, with the first resource arriving within six minutes.
"We transported two patients to the Royal Alexandra Hospital."
A Police Scotland spokesperson added: "We were called around 4pm on Wednesday, November 29, to a report of a crash on Darnley Road, Barrhead, involving a car and a parked vehicle."
