TWO people have been rushed to hospital following a crash on the M8 this morning.
Emergency services were called to the motorway's eastbound carriage way at around 10.25am this morning following a report of a three-vehicle crash.
The incident happened near Junction 7A at Shawhead.

After traffic was held for a time, Lanes One and Two are now closed.
Traffic can pass in Lanes Three and Four.
Several vehicles remain on the hard shoulder.

Two people were taken to Wishaw General Hospital by ambulance.
Their conditions are not known.
Police confirmed one man has been arrested in connection with a road traffic offence.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 10.25am on Saturday, December 9, 2023, officers were called to a report of a three-vehicle crash on the M8 near junction 7a.
"Emergency services attended and two people were taken by ambulance to Wishaw General Hospital.
"One man has been arrested in connection with a road traffic offence."
