AN East End restaurant has revealed its "monster" Christmas sandwich.

Bosses at Scran shared a video of their Christmas Prezzy Bun on social media after they 'jumped on the Christmas sandwich bandwagon'.

The sandwich is made up of a toasted pretzel bun, roast turkey crown cooked in gravy, a pork, sage and chestnut patty, crispy streaky bacone, garlic mayo, and cranberry and turkey gravy jam.

And in case that wasn't enough, it comes with a side of panko breaded brie, a hash brown and cranberry sauce.

Announcing the sandwich on Instagram, they wrote: "We thought we should jump on the Christmas sandwich bandwagon and show you all how it's done.

"Don't worry, after sampling this absolute monster, we've decided to put the breaded brie and hash brown on the side on some cranberry sauce.

"We just don't have enough napkins."

Fans of the London Road eatery took to the comments to share their interest in the new menu item.

One person wrote: "Sounds amazing. Christmas dinner sorted at Oaklands."

Another said: "Holy f, you've outdone yourself."

A third person added: "That's definitely the best Christmas sandwich I've ever seen."

The Christmas Prezzy Bun will be served at Scran until Christmas Day.
