The countdown is on to Christmas, and Glasgow city centre is getting more festive by the day.
It was a typical Saturday in December this weekend as hundreds of shoppers descended on the stores of Buchanan Street to purchase presents for their loved ones.
Nearby, revellers were enjoying the sights, sounds and activities of George Square's Christmas markets.
A ride on the traditional carousel proved to be a perfect photo opportunity while thrill seekers headed for the iconic chair-o-planes against a stunning backdrop of the lit-up City Chambers.
