THE Barras Market is set to host a Krampus experience this weekend for those looking for a festive photoshoot with a twist.
Aimed at "older children, adults and the spooky ones around us", the Santa's Grotto Krampus Takeover will take place on Saturday, December 16 from 10am until 5pm.
Central in the folklore of central and eastern Europe, Krampus is a horned creature who scares children who have misbehaved.

He is said to assist Saint Nicholas with the pair visiting children on December 5.
Saint Nicholas gives well-behaved children items such as oranges, dried fruit and nuts while badly behaved children are said to receive punishment from Krampus with birch rods.
The event, which is being run by Cheese Louise Photography, costs £10 which includes two keyrings and a 6x4 print of the photo shoot.
