RESIDENTS have been allowed to return to their homes after they were evacuated due to a gas leak.
We previously reported around 40 people were evacuated following a gas leak at a property on Pollokshaws Road on the afternoon of Monday, December 11.
Locals were taken to emergency accommodation at Shawlands Primary School for the night while Scottish Gas Network (SGN) teams worked on the issue.

A police cordon remained in place yesterday.
A spokesperson for SGN has confirmed repairs have now been completed and all evacuated residents have been allowed to return home.
Waseem Hanif, spokesperson for SGN, said: "We have now completed repairs to our network in Pollokshaws Road.
"All residents who were evacuated are now being allowed to reoccupy their homes.
"We’re sorry for the disruption caused and would like to thank everyone affected for your patience and understanding."
