A MAN has been rushed to hospital after he was hit by a car.
We previously reported Nithsdale Road was closed near Dumbreck train station after cops were called to a report of a person being struck by a car at around 4.25pm yesterday.
He was taken to hospital for treatment and his condition is not known.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing and police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.

Sergeant Jack Swindells said: "Around 4.25pm on Wednesday, December 13, officers were called to a report of a man struck by a car on Nithsdale Road, Glasgow.
"The pedestrian has been taken to hospital and enquiries into the crash are ongoing.
"I urge any witnesses or anyone with dashcam or video footage to contact us through 101 quoting reference number 2393 of December 13."
