A WEST End eatery has been named in an influential list of the UK's top 100 restaurants.

Harden's have published this year's Top 100 Best UK Restaurants with Cail Bruich, located on Great Western Road, coming in at number 16.

The Harden's guide is re-written from scratch each year and based on their diners' poll.

Cail Bruich opened in 2008 but made its first appearance in the guide in 2018, before winning Glasgow's first Michelin star for 18 years in 2021 after Lorna McNee was appointed as chef.

The guide says it is "worth the effort to get a table in this excellent star of Glasgow's culinary scene" and is acclaimed in the survey as "the best fine dining in town".
