FANS of the popular period drama Outlander will be more than excited to hear that the show's anticipated prequel Blood of My Blood will begin filming in Glasgow as early as next month.
The show, which follows Claire Beauchamp Randall as she is mysteriously transported to 1743 at the height of the Jacobite rebellion, has been a hit with viewers both in Scotland and internationally.
With the upcoming release of the 10-episode spin-off, many will be curious to see where in Glasgow the star-studded cast will arrive.
Glasgow is no stranger to huge productions with recent hits like Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny and The Batman being among the films owing a bit of their success to the city.

What is Outlander's prequel Blood of My Blood about?
The new Outlander series will be a prequel to the main show and cover the forbidden love story of Jamie's parents Brian Fraser and Ellen MacKenzie.
The series will cover the origins of Jamie through the perspective of his parents.
