A MAN and a woman have appeared in court after cops allegedly discovered drugs worth more than £1 million in Clydebank.
In July this year, police raided a property at Kilbowie Road and reportedly found heroin and cocaine.
On Friday, the force announced two people had been arrested following an investigation by Argyll and Dunbartonshire’s Serious and Organised Crime Team.
Cheryl McDade and Stephen Tosh have since appeared at Dumbarton Sheriff Court charged with offences under the Misuse of Drugs Act and Proceeds of Crime Act.
McDade, 31, made no plea today. She was committed for further examination and released on bail.
Her next court appearance is to be confirmed.
Meanwhile, Tosh was committed for further examination and remanded in custody after making no plea.
The 37-year-old will appear again in court in the next eight days.
Both Tosh and McDade's addresses were listed as North Lanarkshire.
Police say further enquiries remain ongoing.
