A HOSTEL in Glasgow city centre has closed it's doors after 21 years in the city centre.
Pictures of Clyde Street's Euro Hostel taken by the Glasgow Times show the entrance boarded up with a sign in the window saying its the "end of an era".
The sign reads: "Euro Hostel Glasgow 2002-2023.
"End of an era but not the end of our memories."
It comes after we previously reported in May that the popular hostel, which has 137 rooms over 10 floors, had gone on the market.
At the time, a spokesperson for Euro Hostel said: "The current owner of Euro Hostel Glasgow has decided to put the business up for sale due to personal reasons."
Google lists the hostel as permanently closed while Independent Hostel Guide says the business was closing on Thursday, November 30.
Hotels.com also says the property is "temporarily unavailable" from Friday, December 1, 2023, until Thursday, August 28. 2025.
The Euro Hostels website is currently unavailable.
Euro Hostels has been contacted for comment.
