FIRE crews raced to the city's East End after a fire broke out a house in Baillieston.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) were called to Broomhouse Crescent at around 8.20pm last night following reports of a house fire.
Four fire engines were sent to the scene to tackle the blaze
Crews worked overnight to extinguish the fire with the last appliance leaving the scene at around 9am this morning.
Pictures obtained by Glasgow Live show the roof of the building has been almost completely destroyed.
A spokesperson for Scottish Fire and Rescue said: "We were called to reports of a house fire on Broomhouse Crescent, Baillieston, around 8.20pm on Friday, December 22.
"Four fire engines were sent to the scene.
"The final appliance left the scene at around 9.02am on Saturday, December 23."
