COPS were called to a loch in Cumbernauld this morning after a car was spotted in the water.
At around 7.45am, police were made aware of a silver Vauxhall car in shallow water at Broadwood Loch near the car park off Orchardton Road.
There was no one in the vehicle when officers arrived.
It is not known how long the car has been in the water or how it got there.
Recovery will be arranged.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 7.45am, police were called to a report of a Vauxhall car in shallow water at Broadwood Loch, off Orchardton Road, Cumbernauld.
"No one was in the vehicle and it will be recovered."
