A CAR was set on fire at a car park in Cumbernauld on Christmas Eve.
At around 2.05am on Sunday, December 24 a white Skoda Octavia car was set alight in a car park in the Burns Road area of the town.
Two mean were spotted near the scene at the time before they made off in the direction of North Carbrain Road.

Police are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or who knows the men to come forward.
Detective Constable Craig Hartley said: "We are keen to speak to anyone who saw what happened or has dash-cam or private CCTV that could help with our enquiries.
"We are also looking to speak to the men seen at the time or anyone who knows who they are or where they went.
"If you can help please contact us on 101, quoting incident number 0331 of Sunday, December 24, 2023, or make a call anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
Both men are described as being dressed in dark clothing, with one carrying a white plastic carrier bag.
