A NEW cafe is set to open at a Clydebank train station next week.
The Hatch will welcome customers from Monday, January 8.
The eatery, located at Singer railway station, will offer a variety of hot and cold food.
Kerry Durnan, owner of the new food spot, announced the opening on Facebook.
She said: "After 21 years in home care I've decided to move on and try something I've always wanted to do.
"I'll be opening the Hatch at Singer railway station on Monday, January 8. Hopefully, see your faces for a wee coffee or a roll, and thanks to everyone who's helped make it possible for me."
Locals expressed their excitement about the opening in the comments.
One person said: "A loss for the care sector but amazing that you are following your dreams.
"Good luck in your new adventure."
A second added: "Wow. Brilliant, Kerry. I will definitely be stopping by for a roll and a blether.
