UPDATE: A person has died following the incident.
Glasgow trains have been disrupted due to an 'emergency incident'.
Services from Glasgow Central to Ayr, Ardrossan Harbour and Largs are experiencing delays, cancellations and revisions on Thursday morning.
This is due to an incident between Johnstone and Kilwinning stations.
Bus replacements are in place with McGills on the 38 service between Johnstone and Glasgow and between Largs and Glasgow.
There will also be two Temporal Travel buses at Paisley Gilmour Street at 08:00 and 08:30, and a minibus shuttle at Kilwinning at 08:00.

ScotRail and Network Rail issued updates at 8.35am that they were in the process of recovering services, but there may still be delays at this time.
The nature of the incident remains unknown, but British Transport Police has been contacted for comment.
