CONCERN is growing for a missing man who was last seen near a park in North Glasgow.
Alan Woods was last seen at around 7.30am on Friday, January 5 in the Balornock Road area.
It is believed the 52-year-old man may have made his way to Springburn Park.
Police said concerns are growing for Alan and they are appealing for anyone with information on his whereabouts to get in touch.
Sergeant Kevin Dougall, Cathcart Police Office, said: "Concerns are growing for Alan and we want to ensure he is safe and well.
"Anyone who has seen Alan or knows where he might be is asked to get in touch.
"Likewise, if Alan hears about this appeal, I would ask him to make contact with us."
Alan is described as being white and around 5ft 10in tall with a medium build and short, dark hair.
He was last seen wearing dark-coloured loose-fitting trousers. It is unknown what else he may be wearing.
Anyone with information on Alan's whereabouts is urged to contact police via 101, quoting reference number 0636 of Friday, January 5.
