MORE than £100,000 worth of cannabis has been seized by police after two cars were searched in Greenock.
At around 4.40pm on Thursday, January 4, officers searched two vehicles on Carnock Street.
They recovered a quantity of drugs, believed to be cannabis, with an estimated street value of £110,000.

Two men, aged 44 and 35, and a 15-year-old boy were arrested and charged in connection with the find.
They were released with an undertaking to appear at Greenock Sheriff Court at a later date.
A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
Detective Chief Inspector Steven Elliott said: "A significant amount of cannabis has been seized and removed from circulation.
"Such recoveries have a substantial impact on those involved in the supply of controlled drugs and those who gain financially from this type of criminality.
"Members of the public have a vital role to play in assisting us and I would urge anyone who has any information relating to drugs in their communities to contact 101.
