PART of a major motorway in Glasgow is set to be closed overnight for 12 days this month.
Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, announced they will be carrying out essential resurfacing works on the M8 eastbound between junctions 14 and 13, including the M80 off-slip road, from Monday, January 15 until Saturday, January 27.
The work, which will be carried out between 10pm and 6am each night, will be completed in three phases.
The first phase will take place for six nights from Monday, January 15 until Saturday, January 20.
Meanwhile, the second phase will take place for two nights from Sunday, January 21 to Monday, January 22.
Following that, the final part of the road works will take each night from Tuesday, January 23 until Friday, January 26.
Signed diversions will be in place throughout the closures.
