The Clydebank outlet of a fast food giant will close its doors for good in the next few days.
KFC on Livingstone Street confirmed it will serve its final fried chicken meals to locals when it shuts down on January 21.
The news will come as a shock to fans of the Colonel Sanders-branded diner and its food, as well as the staff who work there.
However, KFC bosses told The Glasgow Times all employees at the closing store will be retained and moved to nearby shops.
A KFC spokesperson said: "It's been a great run at our Livingstone Street restaurant, but sadly all good things must come to an end.
"Our amazing team members are now joining nearby restaurants, ready to serve our loyal fans their next fried chicken fix.
"The nearest restaurant is Great Western Retail Park – see you there.”
