A Glasgow hotel has received an international eco-certificate for demonstrating its commitment to improving environmental practices.
Motel One Glasgow met 13 criteria to earn the Green Key accolade following an audit by environmental charity Keep Scotland Beautiful.
The programme has been a leading standard in environmental responsibility in the tourism sector since 1994.
Barry Fisher, CEO of Keep Scotland Beautiful, said: "I’d like to congratulate all the newly accredited Green Key establishments.
"They join a prestigious collection of others in Scotland, leading the way in sustainable tourism, and join a family of thousands globally."
Jury Riddell Graham, Member of the independent National Green Key, said: “I would encourage tourism establishments across Scotland to use the framework as a pathway to environmental excellence and sustainable operation."
Green Key says it works to help businesses showcase their green credentials to environmentally conscious consumers.
This includes a comprehensive audit of establishment and additional support to help achieve environmental improvements.
