COPS have been called to the sudden death of a woman in a property in Glasgow.
Officers say they were called to the incident at around 1.45pm on Friday, January 19, on Earl Street in the city's West End.
Now, the force has confirmed they were made aware of a report of the sudden death of a 76-year-old woman.
Currently, the death is being treated as unexplained, however, cops believe there is no "suspicious circumstances".
Her next of kin have been made aware.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Around 1.45pm on Friday, January 19, police were called to a property in the Earl Street area of Glasgow, following the sudden death of a 76-year-old woman.
"The death is being treated as unexplained pending further enquiries, but there is not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.
"Next of kin have been made aware.”
