Crime author Val McDermid will be at the Bookface Sip & Swap event in Glasgow in March.
The author known for selling 20 million books worldwide will be joining the event that takes place at August House on Mitchell Street in the city centre on March 30.
Attendees will have the chance to buy Ms McDermid's books, get them signed personally by her and even meet her.
Sip & Swap gatherings provide guests a chance at swapping books in addition to having discussions and Q&A sessions with authors.
Attendees to the Glasgow event are advised to bring two to four books of any genre in decent condition for an informal book exchange.
The event starts at 1:30 pm and will end at 4:30 pm. Tickets are scheduled to release on Eventbrite at 7pm on January 25.
Previous events have featured writers such as John Niven, Nikki May, Alan Parks, Sam Baker, Susannah Constantine, Doug Allan, Karen Campbell, Graeme Armstrong, and Billy Sloan.
